Resolved Question: cost of trip/other things?

I want to send my kid down to a family members house over in San Jose, but i dont have enough time to drive them down there. Can I send my 15 yr old son down there by bus and other transportation methods with out parental supervision? I know it wouldnt be 'advised' with a teenage son, but i trust him.
